I’ve been playing with my Kindle for over a week now and I love it. The e-Ink display is remarkably sharp, I don’t miss ‘the feel of a book’ one slight bit. Today I found out that Instapaper outputs a Kindle friendly files, this means you can sync all of them blog articles you never got around to reading, wirelessly too.
If you already own a Kindle I can heavily recommend Calibre available for OSX and Windows, think of it as the iTunes of the eBook world. If you have books and pdf’s sat wasting space on your computer Calibre will convert and transfer them.
There are certain books that will still benefit from owning the real deal, such as reference books or design inspiration, but the Kindle is still a very useful gadget and a purchase I’m sure you won’t regret.
